Winter in Korea its realy make you may be sorry and get sick. That’s why there are so many winter snacks that are warm and sweet and help warm up the body when it’s cold. When you visit Korea in winter, its not complete if you didnt try korean food street .This is the best Korean food street you should try when you visit Korea in winter.

  • Hotteok (호떡)

Hotteok is a sweet syrup filled pancake snacks that are very popular during the winter. Hotteok made from  bread flour, sweet rice flour(glutenous rice flour), milk, yeast, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a little bit of nuts.Cause many of calories inside Hotteok, so its very suitable to be eaten in winter.

  • Bungeoppang (붕어빵)

This cute snack called Bungeoppang or bread fish. Its made from cake flour, sugar, cup milk ,egg, and red bean paste for inside. They are crispy outside and very soft inside, with sweet red bean taste when it was cooked.And the seller make Bungeoppang  keep warm so its still delicious when to eat.

  • Gyeranppang (계란빵)

Gyeranppang or egg bread is a warm snack sold throughout Korea. It is filled with egg and it has a shape of rounded rectangle. Fishcake is called “eomuk” in Korea. It is a processed seafood product made of ground white fish and other ingredients such as potato starch, sugar and vegetables. In Korea, fishcake is one of the popular ingredients, used for soup (“eomuk-tang”), side dish (“eomuk-bokkeum”) and kimbap (Korean style maki). Especially, “eomuk-tang”, served on a skewer in broth, is a very popular street food along with ddukbokgi, which people of all ages love.

Sweet Potatoes (고구마) or Goguma, are loved by Koreans and are essential snack in the wintertime. Sweet Potatoes are a root vegetable that is large, starchy, and have a sweet taste for a vegetable. You’ll be able to find them being sold on the streets by vendor passing out steaming sweet potatoes in a large envelope made from recycled paper. Large metal barrels are actually used to make street-cart ovens with customized trays to roast the sweet potatoes.

Chassaltteok is  korean dessert that consists of rice cake filled with sweet bean paste. The cakes themselves are made from either pounded rice . It is a variant of tteok and is similar to Japanese mochi.
