🎇Cheonggyecheon Stream 

The 2019 Seoul Christmas Festival, which marks its fifth anniversary this year, will be held at Cheonggye Plaza. This year’s festival will feature five theme zones under the theme of “Walk down the Road of Light with Santa,” which will feature a large tree and a rich view of Santa Village.


 

 
 

🎅Myeongdong Lights Festival

Walk through the Cheonggyecheon Stream, you can get to Myeongdong which is famous for tourists. The Myeong-dong Lights Festival, which is held for about two months around Christmas every year, is an event where both Seoulites and foreign tourists can enjoy an exciting holiday atmosphere !

Lotte World
Period: November 23rd ~ December 31st, 2019

Lotte World, a famous indoor and outdoor theme park, will host the annual Christmas Miracle Festival. The festival will be held against the backdrop of Lotte World Adventure, which has turned into a “miracle town” due to the Christmas atmosphere. There will be some beautiful decorations, parades, special holiday foods and Christmas carols. Have fun with Santa Claus in Lotte World!

Everland in early winter, where the Christmas festival is held, is popular for the young and the old. This year, Everland will create a new town where Santa and Rudolph live, and at night it will have a fantastic golden feast, boosting the Christmas atmosphere from day to night !

🌲Garden of Morning Calm Lighting Festival 

Period: December 6th, 2019 ~ March 31st, 2020

The lighting festival, to be held in the morning’s garden which is the country’s largest light festival with 100,000 pyeong of light illuminated by 30,000 lights. The twinkling lights with the garden during the winter. The main garden has colorful lights that decorate the trees with Hahmongwon, Hometown House Garden, Boonjaewon, Moonlight Garden, Sky Road and Eden Garden. In case of bad weather, the fire can be turned off for safety.

🌟Pocheon Herb Island Lighting Festival 

Period: November 1st, 2019 ~ April 30th, 2020

The Herb Island Lighting Festival features a romantic atmosphere created by colorful lighting displays. With a 300-meter-tall hope tunnel and lavender fields shining in various colors, Herb Island aims to greet visitors with a holiday spirit. Inspired by the European Christmas market, the festival offers a variety of events, including Christmas-themed soap, tree and candle making, Christmas cookie markets and baked turkeys. There will be so many programs to enjoy such as Christmas markets, exhibitions, photo zones and performances.

Busan

💞Busan Christmas Tree Festival 

Period: November 15th, 2019 ~ January 5th, 2020

Get into the holiday spirit this year at the Busan Christmas Tree Festival in Nampo-dong. Busan’s Jung-gu regional office has said it will start turning on Christmas lights in Gwangbok-ro from the 16th of this week. The festivity lights will go on for the longest ever, until January 5th of next year under the theme of “Busan of Blessing, with ASEAN.” The Christmas Tree Festival’s opening ceremony will be held at 5:30 p.m. on the 30th of this month at the City Spot Special Stage on Gwangbok-ro.



 

✨Illumia Light Festival

The Illumia Light Festival consists of ‘Hostoryland’ and ‘Hos Island.’ First, take a picture of your life by looking around “Dream Tunnel” filled with beautiful starlight. Step into Illumia, the dazzlingly large 153,000 acre of park. Mainly known as a horse-themed park and a popular visitor attraction in Busan, the park turns into an amazing light and color display at night. Named “ Illumia” after “light” and “illusion,” with the millions of LED lights surround the park’s shape and features, creating another world filled with color and light.
