1. Asia Park (아시아공원)

Asia park was built when the Asian Olympic Games were held in South Korea in 1986. There are pavilion, outdoor theater, square, sculpture and walking trail.

2. Samseong Station (COEX)

Some of the more famous buildings near the Samseong station include World Trade Center Seoul, COEX mall and Korea Air City Terminal.

Coex mall is a shopping mecca for global brands in fashion, beauty, accessories, lifestyle, and others. It also has a large movie theater complex and a wide variety of fine dining establishments.

3. Dosan Park (도산공원)

Dosan Park is a park and memorial dedicated to the life and achievements of independence activist An Chang-ho, who also went by pen name Dosan.

The park include memorial hall, walking trails and multiple statues. Admission is free and the park is closed every Sunday.

4. Seoul Sports Complex (서울종합운동장)

Seoul Olympic Stadium has hosted some of the biggest global sporting events including the 10th Asian Games and the 24th Seoul Olympics.

5. Yangjaecheon Stream (양재천)

Yangjaecheon was originally the first tributary to the Hangang river. It runs through Gangnam (3 districts), which is part of the southern half of the city.

If you are looking for a refreshing walk, Yangjaecheon is the best place to go. It is especially popular among couples who would visit there for romantic dates in the summer.

You can also come here for the beautiful view of the Seoul’s night skyline.

6. Seonjeongneung (선정릉)

Seonjeongneung is comprised of Seolleung Royal Tomb (선릉) and Jeongneung Royal Tomb (정릉). Located in downtown Seoul, this place offers tranquil and pleasant promenades for couples and office workers.

Seonjeongneung has a lush forest, and benches on the promenade provide an ideal place to relax.

There are numerous small hills with clusters of trees that create a border between the mystery and serenity of the royal tombs and hustle and bustle of downtown Seoul.

7. Garosugil (가로수길)

The Ginko tree-lined street (Sinsadong Garosu-gil) that runs from Sinsa station to Hyeondae high school is popular, upscale street in Seoul.

The array of open studios, ateliers, cafes, restaurants, bars and fashion shops blend together for a chic cityscape. If you are lucky, you can even meet celebrity here.

8. Jamsil Hangang Park (잠실한강공원)

Jamsil Hangang Park is located on the southern side of the river between Jamsilcheolgyo Bridge and Yeongdong Bridge.

9. Bongeunsa Temple (봉은사)

Bongeunsa Temple is located north of COEX, and was constructed in the 10th year of Silla King Weongseong’s reign (794).

The highlight of the temple though is a 28 meter stone statue of Maitreya, the future Buddha.

This statue is one of the tallest stone statue in the country.

The temple is also popular tourist destination, offering various programs relating to traditional Korean Buddhist culture, in a variety of languages.

10. Gangnam Station (강남역)

Gangnam means “South of the River” made famous by the PSY song “Gangnam Style”. Gangnam station serves as a crucial transfer point between line 2 and buses to all over Seoul and southern Gyeonggi Province.

The area surrounding the station is an important commercial and entertainment district. It has been the meeting point of young people for more than 30 years, thanks to its convenient transportation.

There are underground shopping center in Gangnam station. It has over 210 trendy fashion and accessories shops.
