Have you tried traditional Korean pajeon and drink makgeolli? Pajeon is a Korean dish made from eggs, wheat flour, rice flour, scallions(as its prominent ingredient) and seafood, meat could be extra added inside. Makgeolli is a traditional Korean alcoholic beverage. Korean people are used to having a pajeon and drink makgeolli in the raining day because the sound of making pajeon is similar to the raining. (Of course, people could eat them whenever they want!)
Name: 오매가매 (O Mae Ga Mae)
Hours: Mon~Fri 10:00 ~ 23:30; Sat, Sun 11:00 ~ 23:00
Address: 188 Toegye-ro, Pil-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul
Location:
It’s on the B1 floor.
It was 19:30 and there were lots of customers there; most of them are Korean people(after work). It seems really popular! It’s a little bit dark but good atmosphere.
After people left, pictures were taken. It really looks like a cafe. lol
Before our pajeon coming, side dishes were served first.
Then our main characters came! We ordered chestnut flavor (recommended!)and Yuja flavor.
We ordered a potato jeon. It’s tasty! Just like the hashbrown.
The other we ordered was seafood pajeon. It’s also delicious but a little bit spicy.
In my opinion, it’s a nice place to spend time with friends, eating yummy pajeon and drink makgeolli. 🙂
