Finding somewhere to travel with kids?
Tired of theme parks?
Why not travel to the Alpaca World in Korea?
The biggest feature of the Alpaca World is its ability to directly touch, feed and interact with various exotic animals, including alpaca. You can meet about 30 different kinds of animals that are not trapped in the cage through the Animal Zone, such as the Alpaca House, the Peacock Bird World, the Pony World, the Forest Zoo, the Big Bird Zone, the Garden of Birds, the Rabbit Country, and the Alpacabay Zone. The trainers in charge of each Animal Zone explain the unique habits and ecological characteristics of the animals, allowing children to develop emotional bonds as well as experience learning.
In addition to the animal experience, there are a variety of things to enjoy, including rail sledding available during the four seasons, alpaca& deer safari trains running through the country on Monorail, insects, reptiles and art shops that are inspired by alpaca. Also, you can experience “Alpaca Healing Walk” only at the Alpaca World, it is a walking program with alpaca for each person in the green mountains of Gangwon Province. Especially women love this program. Alpaca World is also famous for its experience-learning site in Gangwon Province. It provides good memories for children, playing in the nature to stimulate five senses, and it is possible to create curiosity among children and learn about new animals through a mysterious animal.
Unlike the other zoos, the animals there are not locked up in the cage. Zookeepers reside in each zone, so you can enjoy a good experience by learning about animals and how to communicate with them. Not only education-focused experience learning, but there are various rides such as Alpaca & Deer Safari Tour and Monorail that children would like, which can satisfy both teachers and students. There is also a variety of indoor programs including “Alpaca Friends” performances, you can enjoy in a garden of birds and an alpaca house.

In addition, there are food and beverage facilities including a wild flower cafe that sells handmade flower tea, a forest cafe that can communicate with alpaca while drinking coffee, and a picnic restaurant with a famous chef. The Art shop also sells souvenirs to cherish memories of Alpaca World.
