How to get free translation service in Korea

2. ‘1330’ Call center

Assume you are on a taxi but your driver doesn’t understand where you are heading to. Then just give a call ‘1330’. You will be able to talk to service officer who are fluent in foreign languages as well as Korean. Just speak to the service officer and give your phone to the driver. They will talk in Korea and you will arrive to your destination without any trouble.

Not only this case, you can call ‘1330’ at any time when you need free translation service during your trip!

3. Red uniform volunteers

If you are lost of need someone’s help on the road, please ask to Red shirts~
Seoul Tourism Board and volunteers launched ‘i-Seoul Tourists Supporters’. You can meet these kind people at major tourist destinations such as Myeongdong, Dongdaemun, Namdaemun, Bukchon, Samcheongdong, Itaewon, Insadong, etc.

Whenever you need help, look for Red shirt with ‘i’ logo hat. ^ ^
