Do you know Boseong and its famous green tea field?

The green tea fields were first planted in 1939. As we know, green tea grew popular as a health and beauty product as word spread of its efficacy, and now Boseong accounts for 35% of green tea production in Korea. The Boseong Green Tea Festival is held every May at Daehan Dawon, the town’s most famous green tea plantation. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, including tea-picking, tea-roasting, and tea-making.

Period: 05.18 ~ 05.22. (Actual date may change every year)

Location: Korean Tea Cultural Park & Boseong tea fields

Address: 775, Nokcha-ro, Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do
전라남도 보성군 보성읍 녹차로 775

There are many programs here, including tea exhibition & sales, tea seedling exhibition, tea bowl exhibition, green tea photo exhibition, green tea food sampling & sales, local specialties & produce, etc.

This is treasure hunting! We searching little hint paper in the field for exchanging green tea products.

There is also a tea museum which visitors could freely take a look.

We could enjoy the tea savoring experience.

At night, we still had tea, dessert experience, and a little mini concert.
