Jeyuk Bokkeum

Jeyuk bokkeum (제육볶음) is a hot and spicy pork dish. Jeyuk Bokkeum  is onre favourite food in the whole world. This dish made from pork belly, onion, garlic, green chili, spring onions, gochujang, gochugaru, soy sauce, ginger, brown sugar, sesame oil and ground black pepper .This food usually served when drinking soju as side dish.





Buldak also called chicken fire is another favorite spicy food in Korea. It is safe to say that buldak is not a Korean cuisine mainstay. It isn’t really Korean food at all, not in the traditional sense anyway.Chicken and tteok (glutinous rice cakes) are the main ingredients of this dish. Jokbal is a Korean dish consisting of pig’s trotters cooked with soy sauce and spices. A classic Korean favorite, pig’s feet are cleaned then boiled for hours with spices and seasoning. But now Jokbal has improved with spicy taste.

Nakji Bokkeum

Nakji bokkeum is a popular dish in Korea that is new, with origins only dating back two centuries and first being introduced in 1965. It is a form of stir-fried food with chopped octopus.  Octopus tentacles are cut into bite-sized pieces then pan stir-fried with spicy gochujang (red chilli pepper paste) along with gochugaru (red chili pepper flakes), sesame oil, red/green chili peppers, green onions, carrots and onions. Different variation of this dish does exist as the octopus can be substituted with squid for less chewy texture and taste.  Non-Koreans may find this dish too spicy even diluted with rice that may come with this dish.



Jjukkumi Bokkeum

Octopus, baby octopus and squid are popular ingredients in Korea. They are most commonly prepared with a spicy gochujang (Korean red chili pepper paste) sauce.



Dakbal (spicy chicken feet)

Dakbal is usually found on most lists of bizarre or unusual Korean foods as chicken feet are not usually consumed. However, in Korea and other Asian countries, it is considered a delicacy. Dakbal is best enjoyed in pochangmacha (tent bars) along with soju. The chicken feet are served in a sauce that is very spicy, slightly sweet and spiced with onions and chili seeds. In some restaurants, rice is served with the dish.
