Jongno-gu is one of most populated areas in Seoul by guest houses and homestays for individual travelers.
The uniqueness of this area is that there are many traditional attractions near by and some of them are walking distance. More attractive thing is you can stay at Hanok (Korean traditional house) in Bukchon, Gye-dong and their neighborhood town as well as modern places.
Jongno-gu gives different pleasure to visitors with the mixture of traditional and modern culture. Gyeongbok Palace, Changdeok Palace, Samcheong-dong, Bukchon, Insa-dong and Jongno are places to visit. This area has many famous restaurants, bars, shops and galleries and street food stalls inside of small alleys and it’s a great walking tour course.
